helt forferdelig talentløst. Og at det er regionsforskjeller, plattformsdifferanser, ørten forskjellige apper og diffuse navn gjør ikke saken bedre heller.

I tillegg er Appen fortsatt nede nå nesten 1 døgn fra det ble rapportert her inne om at den ikke virket.

For the BMWi series, you have to use the iRemote app to remote control your car.

I read a lot of people trying to use BMW Connected, but this is not the correct app for the i3 and i8.

We have been using the iRemote app every day since we received our i3 without any issues.

Just make sure you log into the Connected Services web portal and setup everything correctly. Also in your car.

Synes personlig BMW er langt bedre enn f.eks Tesla på software, både hva gjelder appen og i bilen. Opplever aldri problemer med BMW-software. Appen til Tesla har ikke engang mulighet for tidsstyrt forvarming og bilen mottar bug-fiks etter bug-fiks etter hver store oppdatering. Tesla får være unnskylte med at de har et lite team som jobber med software sammenlignet med BMW Vet ikke hvordan de andre produsentene er.

VW er ikke særlig oppegående på sin app, to år med rot og manglende tilgang i lengre perioder. Men siste måneden var det greit.

This is not true. The  BMW Connected will replace iRemote, and after the last update, its better and more stable (until the update that came tonight)
The Apple Watch app is also working now, and my car is Blue in BMW Connected  , but white in iRemote.
Stille some functionality missing, but there is also new functionality in BMW Connected that not been implemented for iRemote.
I have reported bugs in iRemote, and got a reply from BMW that the future is BMW Connected and bugs will not be fixed in iRemote. (They did not tell me that we will get new bugs for free instead  )

It depends on if you're using an iPhone or some Android-device. iPhone has BMW Connected, BMW Connected Classic (requires connection through USB) and iRemote, while Android only has iRemote and a non functioning BMW Connected Classic.

Yes I am using iPhone.

I have now both iRemote and BMW Connected installed. Just installed the latter to check it out, but for now I prefer to use iRemote, since that one is dedicated for the BMWi range, while the BMW Connected is a more general application, missing some of the features and overview you have with iRemote.

I'll keep an eye on BMW Connected app and how it progresses over time, but as long as iRemote keeps working I keep using that one.

Jeg har ingen problemer eller har hatt problemer med BMW Connected eller iRemote på iPhone. bare innlogging via web-siden. men der har jeg funnet en rutine, dog litt tungvinn.

Hei - ja samme problem. Måtte logge inn via pc'n for å starte forvarmingen i morges. Har sendt en mail til BMW og varslet.

Du er vel klar over at du kan starte forvarming med knapp på nøkkelen?

Det kom en oppdatering av iOS appen i dag som løste problemet.

Hadde problemer med BMW Connect appen på iPhone 6. Den starta men kom aldri til login men gikk derimot i bakgrunnsmodus uansett og hele tiden.

Reinstall funka ikke. Etterhvert testa jeg en Hard Reset av iPhone 6 (ved å holde HOME og LOCK knappene inne til iPhone 6 slår seg helt av)
Husk å holde knappene inntrykt videre når Eple-ikonet kommer opp. Den slår seg da av like etterpå.)

Deretter fungerte BMW Connect appen.

Iphone 7 har en litt annen tilnærming til Hard Reset. På iPhone 7 trykker du på både dvale/vekke-knappen og volum ned-knappen og holder dem inne i minst ti sekunder, helt til du ser Apple-logoen.
