So I got an update for the app (4.42-1 on Android) yesterday evening...
Now I can't get in anymore either... I just get the Renault logo animation and then the grey and yellow dots at the bottom are dancing and dancing and dancing... And  that's it!

Same shit here (too poor Renault!)    however rolling back like you described worked perfectly  Thanks!

Ok I can confirm that the problem is the latest version of the app!
I rolled back to the previous version (v4.40) and it is working again

v4.42.3 of the app is now available and it seems to work... At least it starts properly now
