Angående jobb på lakkforsegling anbefaler jeg Car Spa https://car-spa.no i Oslo. Mer profesjonelt sted finnes ikke og min bil ble meget fin.

Jeg lakkforseglet min bil og ville ikke anbefalt det. Bortkastede 10000 for min del.

Hvem brukte du? Det føler jeg er litt viktig å få frem. 

Jeg brukte ca samme sum og er meget fornøyd med resultatet, det ble lagt NxtZen Pro av Vollen Autosuite. 

Dett ble gjort i Juni,fortsatt er det selvfølgelig god effekt av coating.

Brukte en hel helg på Wurth sin Evershine i fjor. Bortkastet føler jeg.
Tåler ikke spylerveske (sår i coating rundt ruta) og møkka satt som støpt på dørene etter 1 mnd.

Blank som f, men møkka sitter dønn. Ikke happy med så mye arbeid for så dårlig resultat 🙂

There are a lot of different Ceramic coatings on the market and with it a high variety in quality.
A high quality Ceramic Coat cost easily 2-3000 NOK for a small bottle.

Applying it correctly also takes a very long time. 3 days at least.

Day 1. Washing + polishing. Then dry overnight.
Day 2. Applying ceramic coat and then it needs to harden for 24 hours.
Day 3. Pick up car at end of day.

That is why it costs 10k+ NOK. With the top coatings you get 5 year warranty. So then you can go back if it already starts failing so quickly.

Nothing lasts 5 years unfortunately. Fusso Synthetic Wax is a popular choice among hobby and experienced alike, and has a stated 12 month guarantee.

Fusso will be removed if you use certain types of degreaser, then it lasts only until that happenes.
Fusso will be harshly affected by snow and dirt from winter roads, that will massively effect wear.

Therefore, fusso in Norway does not have 12 months. It has 2-3 if you coat during summertime.

A 5 year ceramic coating of a good brand is good for about 1-2 years here in Norway.

I understand that, but 2 years is a lot longer than the described 1 month above. That just sounds like a very bad job or low quality Ceramic coat.

Also the 5 year warranty at least gives you the opportunity to get a new top coat applied for free within those 5 years.

PS. What I have been told, is that often why these coats fail so quickly (as 1 month example above) is that they most likely either rushed it and not let it harden long enough or just used cheap quality brand (and basically ripped you off if you had to pay 10k NOK for that).
