"The 80% charge option wasn't removed because it didn't do anything to keep the battery last longer, it was removed because of the EPA's silly test method that rated the range based on a mix of 100% and 80% charge resulting in a lower range that Nissan was forced to print on the sticker. Now they get rated on the 100% charge thus the 'increased' range of the 2014 model. It's a sales/marketing decision. Charging to 100% vs 80% definitely reduces battery life, it's a well known fact."

Noe så inni granskauen teit! Glad jeg har en 2013 leaf fremdeles med støtte for 80% lading automagisk.
