Hi,

I got the heating system (varmeapparat) upgraded under warranty a couple of weeks ago.
They upgraded the software but also changed some part in order to prevent the problem when you pre-condition twice without starting the car.
Since then, the temperature is much cooler in the car when the pre-conditioning is done.

Is this a known side effect of the upgrade?
Or was I the only one with a really warm car in the morning?  8)

I don't know, but I do know that there has been issues like this before; Renault (and other manufacturers)  offered an update that f..... things up.
This is why I said no thanks to the update. "If it ain't broken, don't fix it."

How is your heating after vs before when driving?

Personally I found that the heater in the ZOE is more than good enough, it draws up to 5 kw for heating and  works fast. But the temperature control is a joke. It's basically a manual climate control system.

Also I think the 400km model can use the preheating with less SOC that the older model, and it stays on for twice as long when not plugged in.

It is roughly the same, just that it takes more time to get the warm air blowing again...

Yes it is exactly my experience as well!
It looks like it is building some kind of average before getting the heating started.
In the morning after pre-conditioning, if I leave the temperature on 19C, it takes for ever to get some warm air blowing again.
The reaction time is quite slow, both for the temperature but also if you change where you want to air to blow (e.g from only towards the windscreen to both windscreen and feet).
