Hello. I am selling my blue 2002 think car due to relocation. When i move away I am planning to keep it in a garage until it is sold. My question is - how often should the car be recharged and taken out for a run, can it sit in the garage without losing battery potential? I have read that NiCd batteries are not at risk when having them in storage and not using, but i would like to read some advice from elbilforum community about this.  :)

NiCd batteries should be stored at as low SOC as possible. Preferable shortcircuited. With the batteries in the car this is unfortunately not so easy.
I am not sure about the Think, but on PSA NiCd cars I recommend to drive the car as low as possible and then unplugg the main traction-battery-fuse. In addition connect at intelligent batterycharger (eg Ctek) on the 12V battery so that it does not die.

Only problem with this is that whenever you need to wake up the car is that it will probably not charge since the tractionbattery is to low, so then you need an external charger of some kind to bost the voltage for some minutes to get it above 100V
