You can try using the TomTom HOME application... But be very careful as this might not work with the maps created/needed by R-Link.

I agree with RJK. The consumption you see probably does not show you what you use which is not purely for the engine, like heating. The consumption page shows you how much the car use for other things than pure motion.
It is like this on my Mégane so it would make sense it is also the same on the R5/R4.

And yes, small trips are the worse because everything is cold and you use a lot of electricity to warm everything up each time.

And finally, if you drive long trips, the last 10% hold more energy than the guess-o-meter says.

Regarding the guess-o-meter, it looks like it is a bit like my Megane...
The temperature of the pack seems to affect the final number quite a bit, so there is a difference between coming back home after a trip with a pack half warm, and the next day when it is cold.
I also noticed that the last 15-20% "hold" more range per % than the top ones.
And according to NAF's tests, my car still has 20-30 km of range after 0% before totally stopping.

It is probably the same with the R5.
Give it a try, to see...

The "foot" you glue to the windscreen is different between SkyttelPASS and Fjellinjen++.
But the RFID brick is different as well.
You get both in the mail.

I always find the Renaults to be a bit pessimistic when it comes to the range guestimate.
And there is a bit of a buffer at the bottom as well.
Try to go from 100% to say 5% and see how many km you manage

The ZE50 Intens and Iconic have 136 hp engines.
The Life and Zen have 100 hp engines. And also small screen in the middle above the gear shifter.

None of the ZE50 have adaptive cruise control, unless it came after the first models in 2020.
I would also recommend updating the BMS to the latest version if possible and not done already.
One thing that is a bit weak on the ZE50 is the "lenkearm" (if I remember correctly the term in Norwegian).
The best is to test drive the car and see if you feel/hear something suspicious, on bad roads as well

The Evolution with the smaller wheels and the weaker engine (130 hp) has a better range yes (475 km).
The new Megane from 2025 is given for 464 km WLTP with the 220 hp engine.

One Pedal mode will not give you a better range:
The more you regen, the lesser the range. The best is to let the car coast and regen as little as possible. Of course, regen is better than breaking.
The reason why regen is not as good as coasting is because you have losses when you charge and discharge the battery.

On the Renaults, when you press the break pedal, first you regen, then you apply the physical breaks if you can not regen more. Full regen is not possible with full battery and/or cold weather.

Yes the Iconic is the top model. The main differences with the Techno are the seats (leather + electric) and the sound system (Harman Kardon, even if the default one is pretty ok I think).
No matter what you take, make sure you have both packs (pack augmented vision & advanced driving assist).
If important for you, some 2022 models also have the 22 kW on board chargers instead of the 7 kW one which was the default. Looks like the new models from 2025 have 11 kW as default now.

During the winter, if it is really cold and you have only short trips, you will not managed 300.
Or if you drive 110 km/h...
If it is around -5C and you start with a warm car off the charger at home, and you drive 90, you maybe manage 330 km.

Rust: I have not noticed anything special yet... but my car is barely 2.5 years old.

I can't think of any other problem with the car. It is not the most spacious one but I love it. If you need space you might want a Scenic The range is much better there with the 87 kWh battery pack

You should test drive the Megane for a week-end if possible.
