Finding your SoH

The Mégane does not have the equivalent of the CanZE app (the one you can use with the ZOE), so all you are left with is the app called Car Scanner on your phone.

I found out yesterday that, even though you get much less info than with CanZE, you can actually get the value for the SoH in the All Sensors menu!
If this is correct or just a random number, I do not know

It says around 95% for my car, which seems in the ball park at least.

Anybody else tried?

Interessant. Jeg har aldri brukt CanZE på mine Zoe'er og har aldri sjekket SoH på dem, men vet du om denne fremgangsmåten er mulig også i min Renault 5-E-Tech? Hvor i menyen er det du i så fall finner dette? Har ikke brukt særlig tid på å utforske menyene i systemet ennå.

There is a car profile for the Renault 5 E-Tech in Car Scanner, so you should give it a try and see what data you get out of it

I upgraded to the Car Scanner Pro version for 48,- NOK (you can also subscribe for a month for 25,- ) and got a few extra sensor data, but nothing earth shattering like e.g the battery temperature

OK, så det er en egen app man kan laste ned og installere? Jeg tenkte kanskje det var begravd dypt nede i systemmenyene i bilen. Takk for tipset, skal sjekke den opp.

Har forøvrig ikke lastet ned en eneste app til bilen ennå, har ikke engang aktivert Android Auto mot mobilen da jeg ikke finner det nødvendig. Er ikke interessert i å ha Google rundt meg døgnet rundt mens de samler inn data og selger de videre, men det er en helt annen diskusjon... ;-)

Yes sorry Car Scanner and CanZe are apps you install on your phone. But you need an OBD dongle to plug into the car so your phone can connect to the car's computer.

OK, så man trenger fortsatt en dongle ja. Den du linker til er jo ganske rimelig, skal tenke litt på det.

That dongle works fine with Android and Bluetooth...
I am not sure how it is with iPhones... They might prefer the ones using Wifi...
