Hi folks,

Thanks
Matthias

Hi, you need a special adapter, it is very hard to find such adapter.
For the "tech centre" manual you can send me a private message with your email.

worry

There are lot's of us who would like to have this adapter.
Anyone know why it's so difficult to find such?

Is it possible to reengineer this adapter and make new ones?
I paid 300 euros to get the pcan adapter, and I would pay the same amount to get this one.

Thanks.

Hi Worry & all
I was in same situation till I find out how to use CHAS, his interface is ugly indeed but it does almost  the same as tech center (except programming new keys).
Try it and maybe it helps, the only adapter needed is Serial to USB ;)

I tried some months ago, but did not see any contact with the car.
Do you use the pcan adapter? Is there a detailed instruction somewhere?
Thanks.

No PCAN adapter, just serial to USB if your computer does not have serial com port.
The CHAS  manual (instructions) can be found inside think.zip archive ;)
You only need a cable adapter , there is info in one of my posts if i remember well..
And other info regarding this cable, tge plug location (under fuse panel) can be found on this forum also, bow i'm mobile and i cannot search , sorry

worry

Thanks,
Found it. I remember now that I've read it before.  :+1:

Hi, can anybody tell me where i can get CHAS Software?

pexic

Teasie - check the private messages  ;)

Teasie

Hi Folks, thanks a lot for support. Now I am connected with my Th!nk, it's a Zebra Gen1.
I read out with CHAS, Zebra Monitor and PCANview. All I can see, everythink is OK no Error Code found.
But Zebra is heating, saying ready, but charging didn't start  :'(
Anyone a Tipp - I mean the last thing todo is to throw away a very nice car with a Zebra in best condition (no faults).

best regards
Teasie

Maybe look at the data that CHAS shows you and try to analyse it?
For example look at the fault code bytes.

Teasie

Hi, ther are no fault codes all bytes 0.

BauDemo

It will be hard to guess what it could be.
Please publish here a screenshot from CHAS when the car has a charged 12V battery and the start key is in position II.

Yes, like this, but I usually get much more parameters... Did you open correct var file?
Have you translated the meaning of all the parameters you see?
The BMI reports 0% SOC...
The voltage of the battery is very low...
Can you try to select correct .var file, and then try to charge (plug the blue plug) and take another screenshot.
