Battery type: I guess 0 is lead-acid, 1 is the the old type NiCd, with smaller reserve and type 3 is the NiCd with extra reserve.

I have battery type 1 on my Saxo. (my Saxo is really from the start from the production, ORGA 7343, (16/12/1996) - my Partner have type 3, that one is ORGA 7760.

The batteries with bigger reserve are since ORGA 7724:

Har der været 3 typer batterier ?
Dem fra 1998 havde dårlige separatorer og kunne explodere. Men havde høj kapacitet..
Dem fra 2001 var med bedre separator, men havde lavere kapacitet end dem fra 1998..
(1998 blev vist byttet ud med 2001) ?

- før 1998, batteri type ?
- 1998 -> 2001, batteri type 1 eller 3 ?
- 2001 -> ..... ,   batteri type 1 eller 3 ?

mvh.

ORGA number (PR, RP or RPO number) 7724 means cars produced from 1 January 1998

According to the paper in the first link in the previous post cars from this date should have the Nickel Cadmium traction battery with increased reserve.
2001 Peugeot 106 Electric (hvit) arvet batteripakken til 1998-modellen
2003 Saxo Electrique (sølv)
2003 Saxo Electrique (hvit)
Ex: 1998 Peugeot 106 Electric (grønn) Ny batteripakke i 2009

Yes :)
But is that not the "bad" -98 types, with to weak separators, but high capacity ?
Was later replaced with newer 2001 types, with better separator but lower reserve ?

Do you mean:
- before 1998, batteri type ?
- 1998 -> 2001, batteri type 3 ?
- 2001 -> ..... ,   batteri type 1 ?

For Me it looks like the http://xserver.dfmk.hu/~phoenix/SaxoElectrique/IncreasedreserveBattery.pdf only refers to 1998 batteri, that had bad separators. (could blow up). :)
