No arguments from me... The UCase will charge at max 10A no matter which plug you use as soon at the fan starts :(
During my tests, with the Type 2 plug, it starts sending 3 kW but goes down to 2 kW as soon as the fan starts. And then things gets sloooow since the efficiency to the battery goes down even more as the input decreases to 2 kW.
3.6 kW out of the UCase gives around 3 kW in the battery after AC/DC conversion.
2 kW out of the UCase gives around 1.7 kW in the battery after AC/DC conversion.
So almost twice as slow!

How nice to hear this from you @Svein_H :)
Good luck with finding a nice ZE50, which will make up for the old ZE40 I hope!

If you buy one from a garage, I would recommend making sure all the firmwares are updated!
It took a few iterations to iron out all the bugs ;)

I wholeheartedly agreed with you :P
When I test drove the ZE50, I just had to buy one and trade in my ZE40 which was barely a year old  :D

For that much money, why not a Megane E-Tech?

How much was it for a e208? 380k seems high...
What about the Cupra?
And are we talking everything included, like summer tires and so on?

They are partners with Tesla Bjørn :)

Do you know what died exactly on your R90?

They do not use the Cameleon built-in charger anymore, so IT charging is not a problem anymore :)

Zoe / Sv: Check Electric System - Et typisk 12V batteri problem
søndag 07. januar 2024, klokken 12:48
Just switch the car "on" with the usual "Brake pedal + Start button". This will charge the 12V battery even if you are not driving around.

I do not know how it works exactly, but at least on my car the available capacity of the battery is dependent of its temperature.
During cold  winter days with a pack at -10, I easily lose 10% capacity.

Moreover, a cold battery pack has a higher internal resistance so more energy is wasted just transporting the electrons out.

Zoe / Sv: Lading av 2020 modell Zoe med Easee/IT-nett

Was the car sold to you with a special cable for charging at home, either the so called Ucase that was usually sold with the Zoe ZE50, or the "ladebøtte"?
In any case, if you have IT-nett at home, you need a transformer somewhere in between your home and the car.
You can either buy one of these and get it mounted by an electrician before your Easee box (which will then get TN-nett):
https://www.finn.no/bap/forsale/ad.html?finnkode=324668809
https://www.finn.no/bap/forsale/ad.html?finnkode=328045716 (but just the trafo for this one, not the podpoint).

Or you need something like this that you plug into your Easee box (you might need an adapter Schuko to Type2):
https://www.finn.no/bap/forsale/ad.html?finnkode=322105467 (this one has the adapter)
https://www.finn.no/bap/forsale/ad.html?finnkode=298201609 (also compatible Type 2)

The UCase and the Zaptec have a fan so they are noisy.

The transformer and the ladebøtte do not.

The best solution for speed and quiet is the trafo.

Zoe / Sv: Battery ZE50 problem?
søndag 29. oktober 2023, klokken 11:59
I have basically the same car and almost the same mileage (48 000 km).
I just charged it to 100% during the night and I have 268 km of range at the guess-o-meter :)
According to the SoH, my battery pack has a bit less than 4% degradation.

So I do not think there is anything wrong with the car you bought :)

Several things affect the range quite drastically during the winter:
- You simply use more energy to move around (Around 11-12 kWh/100 km during the summer not driving too fast, to around 18 now with colder temperatures and winter tires, to 22-25 in the worst winter conditions)
- The battery pack gets much colder and the total available energy gets reduced... You can easily lose 10% that way.

During the summer I get around 400 km range driving around Oslo on at motorway around 80 km/h.
Less if I drive 110 to the airport/Hamar.
