No PCAN adapter, just serial to USB if your computer does not have serial com port.
The CHAS  manual (instructions) can be found inside think.zip archive ;)
You only need a cable adapter , there is info in one of my posts if i remember well..
And other info regarding this cable, tge plug location (under fuse panel) can be found on this forum also, bow i'm mobile and i cannot search , sorry

Hi Worry & all
I was in same situation till I find out how to use CHAS, his interface is ugly indeed but it does almost  the same as tech center (except programming new keys).
Try it and maybe it helps, the only adapter needed is Serial to USB ;)

Hi, you need a special adapter, it is very hard to find such adapter.
For the "tech centre" manual you can send me a private message with your email.

Hi Wolfgang
It depends what kind of cells do you use.
If you choose LiFePo4 type (3.2v per cell) then 4 cella will be ok.
I use Lithium Tithanate  Oxyd cells (2,4v per cell) so I needed 5 cells .

Still for sale ? I'm interested, thank you.

@jur
check in commtool (upper right) if "Rcv. Range is 61E - 61F.  if not- please input these values and try again (CAN Bus must be checked also)

Ok, the hardware is here.

But... my battery is working perfectly after Rlec modifications so it will take some time till I'll test the Rlec clone, untill then i will start learning arduino ;)
I'll keep you posted.

Attached is the draft of my flowchart  :)
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

The 400V-250V battery voltage range will be conevrted to 2,5 - 4.2v isolated voltage for arduino AD input.
This will be "The cell voltage" reported by arduino for all cells
The pack voltage (44,4V) will be also reported by arduino but basically will be cell voltage multiplied by 12 and this will be made "software" style ;)
In this way I can put any type of cells ("battery"), not only Li-Ion, because in reality I only measure the whole pack voltage (400-250v)

Thecell balance and cell monitoring, as I said, is a separate job (see my previous posts).

Regards
Viorel V.

Hello friends

I've captured the start communications (via internal Enerdel battery CAN) between MLEC and RLEC's

Please see attached file (remove .txt extension) :
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]
I think this is the color code:
Violet - broadcast MLEC requests
Grey - MLEC request addresed to a specific RLEC board
Light Blue - RLEC broadcast  (ignored by MLEC - so not mandatory)
Green - specific RLEC response to MLEC requests (mandatory)

Please tell me if you think oitherwise ;)

Thank you

Here is the chasis hole used by me for ventilation , view from under the car (battery was removed) :

The opening in the chasis  is already there, in fact there are two openings the one used by me (in the middle) and a larger one in the right. Beside that in the front right passager side.
The two back openings are vertical and if you install the cooler like I did you don't neet to cut the chasis.
I"ll upload a picture soon.

have fun.

Hello

update:  computer cooler added:
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]  [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]  [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

cooler info : 12V / 150mA - connected to +12V power bar of one RLEC.
Air filter added in the car compartment (under the floor, behind the seats)

scope :
-ventilate the air inside the battery for better cooling of RLEC modules
-ventilate the air inside the battery for eliminating the water accumulation during condensation.
-create air pressure inside the battery so moisture will not enter even if there are small air gaps around the battery case.
-heating the battery during winter (webasto unit will be mounted in the same empty box as the battery air filter :

have fun!
