ID.3 / Sv: Praktisk rekkevidde ID.3

True, its pathetic. I use to drive 8KM in the morning and the same at the evening. I have also noticed a very high consumption. 60% to 65% charge only goes for around 100KM - with this driving pattern :-1:  My car always remain parked outside at around -5`C, I do not know how to preheat the battery but I use to heat up the cabin (to +17`C) using AC.
I would really like to know if its a problem with all electric car or specific to ID3? ALL the range tests only talks about long journeys, difficult to find test result for this type of short drives.

But I have noticed that the car is very efficient when I have traveled 200KM (at around 0`C) at a stretch; it was 17.2 KWh/100KM.

ID.3 / Regarding range and charging
mandag 30. november 2020, klokken 21:52
Regret I am writing in English, my Norwegian is even in worse shape.
Its almost three weeks of ownership experience of ID3 1st Plus, now getting a bit concern regarding the range I am getting. I am new to electric car world, confused about WLTP range and what I am getting in practice.
I drive mostly in city, to barnehage and shopping malls. Most driving session is less than 10 KM. Two long drive session of around 40KM so far. I use to heat the steering wheel every time I start driving and internal temperature is set to 22 degree Celsius.  Apart from this everything else is set to default. No radio or use of phone in car.
Odometer reading is 428KM so far and I already have a few charging session! Tried to capture some data as you can see in the attachments.
Request your expert comments on this. Is this something normal consumption for electric cars in Oslo in November or my ID3 is not that efficient in particular?

Any help would be appreciated  :)

Ladeplasser og ladekabler / Sv: 7kw vs 11kw charger

Thanks a lot to you all for your valuable suggestions :)  :+1:
Here are two of the nearest charging points from my home, what I understand is that those are only 3.6kw and 7.4kw. So if I depend on these charging points only, then there will be almost no advantage of an 11kw, 3 phase charger over a 7kw. Is that correct?

Ladeplasser og ladekabler / 7kw vs 11kw charger

Hello,
I am planning to buy an electric car soon. I never had any type of car in Norway so very little experience. Most likely I am not going to get a garage space with option for charging. So I'll depend entirely on road side charging facilities provided by kommune or on fast charger stations.
I have noticed that some cars comes with onboard 7kw charger and we can buy an 11kw charger for extra cost of around 3000NOK.
My question is that is it wise to buy 11kw charger? Will there be any advantage in terms of charging time and cost if I charge at the public charging points?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated :)
