Mitt forsøk på kommunikasjon med Skoda kundeservice:
Kundeservice:
The case has been escalated to our technical team and their answer to your question about disabling the welcome screen at startup is that it is not possible. The reasons for this are:
1) one of the four IAA (Identification, Authentication, Authorization) steps is confirmation of the message on the mentioned screen and
2) GDPR rules.
Mitt svar:
Thank you,
Today my smartphone, smartwatch, earphones, AirTags and other electric BMW car collect data and my position. I have given permission for them to do this. But I do NOT have to press 'OK' every time I use my phone, watch, earphones, AirTag and BMW. Have you guys and girls at Skoda never experienced this? I can recommend it.
I have a good understanding of GDPR, but I can not understand why I as a data subject have to give Skoda as data processor every time I use my car.
In addition, Skoda as a data processor process data even if I as a data subject have not pressed 'OK' when using the vehicle. So if the reason for me to have to press 'OK' every time I use the vehicle, I would assume by not pressing 'OK', I do not give consent for Skoda to process my data, and you are in violation of GDPR.
Can you confirm Skoda process data even if I do not press 'OK' when operating the vehicle? If that is the case, and you clearly need me as data subject to consent before you process my personal data, are you in breach of GDPR when I do not press 'OK'?
Please escalate this not to the technical team, but the legal team, as interpreting GDPR is a legal matter, not a technical one.
