I got the car in september and it has never been able to connect. The Renault work-shop at Motorforum Oslo reprogrammed the system but it still doesn't work. According to them there are more cars with this problem, and I just have to wait for a solution from Renault in France. I'm out of clue what to do next.

Yes. The car is added to my account with VIN number, but the system in the car is not able to connect to the account.

Then I am afraid you will just have to wait for a solution from Renault in France.
I had something similar with my last Zoe and it took the Renault Support to fix it.

Takk for info. Jeg har vært i kontakt med medlemsservice i Elbil-forheningen, og der mener de jeg har krav på å få hevet kjøpet. 3 måneder er for lang tid for å få dette fikset. Jeg kommer til å kreve at Renault tar inn bilen for å fikse feilen eller evt. tilby innbytte. Dersom dette ikke fører frem vil jeg kreve å få hevet kjøpet av bilen. Veldig synd for jeg liker bilen og er ellers veldig fornøyd.

How are your experience with the app. Is it easy to use?
Is it effective for defrosting windows, and how long before a ride do you need to activate it?
Do you use your phone as a key to the car?
Other features you like?
How often does it fail?

I miss the key button Zoe had, for remote activation of the heating

The app works fine for me really. There are sometimes instabilities (once or twice a month maybe) but it looks like it is more with the back-end on the servers, or between the servers and the car.

If you pre-heat the car before departure, then yes defrosting is not a problem. Whatever ice or snow you have then melts and is easy to remove. Usually starting it 5 min ahead is enough. If you want the car to be really warm, 10 min maybe.

You can not use the phone as the key to the car, that I know of, but I will check :)
For me the car auto unlocks when I get close and I have the key in my pocket so I do not need to use the phone. And it auto locks when you go away from the car.

What I use the app for:
- Pre-heating.
- Controlling the charge (force a start, or control start/stop by changing the programs start/stop time)
- Checking the charging history (because I am a nerd  ;) )

I do not use the route planner.

If you are around Oslo maybe we could meet and I could have a look at your car? I probably can not fix the problem but maybe we get lucky :)

Hadde bilen inne hos Motorforum Asker og Bærum. Må si at kundebehandlingen føles mye bedre der enn hos Motorforum Oslo. Dessverre kom de til samme konklusjon. Det er fortsatt et server problem hos Renault. De har sendt saken videre. Hva Motorforum Oslo har gjort etter at bilen var der er uklart for meg.

I failed to respond to this in the Christmas rush. Maybe we could arrange a Megane E-tech January meeting in Oslo? I can't find any way to make personal contact on this platform.

One thing we can try, is to by-pass Motor Forum all together and create a case at the support at Renault in Paris directly. I did that last time I had a similar problem with my Zoe, it took some time but they fixed it.
You can either try to contact them in English via email (which I can give you) and hopefully they can answer.
Or I can be the middleman and handle the communication in French with them  :)
