Tittel: Getting some heat while charging
Skrevet av: minibitifre 03. jan 2020, kl. 15:15
I have read/seen many places people complaining about not being able to use the heater in the car while it is charging. But I also seem to remember that using the pre-conditioning is a possible work around.

So I finally tested today with my R110 :)

And indeed it works! I started the charge and then while sitting in the car I pressed the button on the keycard and after a little while, heat came out of the vents.
I guess it is the same if one uses the app.

Can you guys who have a earlier model confirm that it also works for you?

Jepp, fungerer fint på min 2017 modell, mener også å huske at det virket på min 2015 modell. Uansett er dette en workaround på en dustete begrensning i bilens software, hvorfor mener Renault at man skal fryse mens bilen lader?

"Dustete" indeed, I am with you on that one...
Looks like the ZE50 has the same limitation from the test videos I found.
I will test more when I get mine next week.

I have heard that the button on the keycard does not exist for the ZE 50

Yes me too.
But worst case you can use the app to do the same :)

Eller programmere forvarming 15 min frem i tid på skjermen i bilen.

Håpløst av renualt.  burde vært enkel oppgradering for å tillate varme uten omvei
